Mission: To foster a compassionate and therapeutic environment that provides specialized residential treatment for children ages six to eighteen, who have been removed from their caregivers due to severe abuse and neglect, who also have been diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and other alcohol related neurological disorders (ARND). The ten bed FASD residential treatment program at The Children's Home of Wheeling has been funded through a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) contract with Northrop Grumman IT Health Solutions.
