What: 2007 Addictions Studies Institute

Building on the success of last year’s groundbreaking combined Institute from The Ohio State University and the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, the 2007 Addiction Studies Institute will emphasize a full continuum of care utilizing evidence-based and promising practices presented by Ohio and national experts. The 2006 premier event brought 920 professionals together for education and workforce development in alcohol and other drug prevention, treatment and recovery support services. Plans for the August 14-17, 2007 Institute promise an array of dynamic educational choices for the chemical dependency counselor, social worker, prevention specialist, criminal justice professional, physician, nurse and other healthcare specialist.
